Join us in adventures in hands-on composting and gardening for little people. Experience and discover fun and exciting adventures in the natural workings of composting and gardening in the "Freedom & Peace Gardens”. Students will learn these techniques through researching in the college library practices and methods to composting, planting, and observing plant growth progresses. Students will utilize research gathered to implement a small indoor garden project before moving into larger gardens on-site. Learn to love and appreciate processes of growing food to supplement your family members while taking a deeper look into surrounding ecosystems developing a deeper connection with the land.
